Dr. Ayech BENJEDDOU is a University Professor (exceptional class). He is a Teacher at SUPMECA and Researcher at ROBERVAL Mixed Research Unit of SU/UTC and CNRS. His teaching interests are in Composite Structures, Intelligent Materials & Adaptive Structures, Structural Vibrations & Controls, and Finite Element Methods. He has a more than twenty years research experience in modelling, simulation and testing of Piezoelectric Materials, Structures & Systems. Dr. Benjeddou has published more than 200 journal and conference articles, editorials and book chapters. He is an independent scientific expert for the European commission and several European, North American and African universities and agencies. He is currently associate editor of Int. J. of Smart & Nano Materials, advisory board member of Acta Mechanica and Structural Control & Health Monitoring, Contributing board member of Mechanics of Advanced Materials & Structures, and editorial board member of Smart Structures & Systems, and Computers, Materials & Continua. He edited 14 issues for these journals. He also reviewed for more than 70 scientific journals. Dr. Benjeddou gave around 30 plenary, keynote and invited conference lectures and organized more than 20 conferences and mini-symposia. He is currently co-chairman of the joint 8 th ECCOMAS Thematic Conf. on Smart Structures & Materials (SMART) and 6 th Int. Conf. on Smart Materials & Nanotechnology in Engineering (SMN), Madrid (Spain), 5-8 June 2017, and 7 th Int. Symp. on Aircraft Materials (ACMA), Compiègne (France), April 2018. He is also a Leader of the Smart Structures Track within the Multifunctional & Smart Composites theme of the 21 st Int. Conf. on Composite Materials (ICCM), Xi’an (China), August 20-25, 2017.

Nadia El Kissi received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering, in 1989 from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France. She is senior scientist at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Her research expertise concerns rheology and process engineering of complex model, industrial, and biological fluids. All scales, from the nano to the macroscopic scale, and all fields, from the elaboration to the processing, are considered.

Dr. M. Mounir Bou-Ali received his Ph. D in Physics (UPV / EHU, 1999). He has developed his research during his research in the areas of Fluid Mechanics. Since 2002, he has been teaching at the University of Mondragon, with research in fluid mechanics activity, being the coordinator of the line of R & D in Fluid Mechanics Departement. He is currently developing his research on issues related to transport phenomena in liquid mixtures; synthesis, characterization and analysis of magnetorheological fluids, as well as the development of new methods of separating in micro-biotechnological. He has published over 150 papers in scientific journals, book chapters, international and national conferences and has made 10 patents.

Diplômé de l'Ecole Polytechnique de Paris, de l'Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique, ainsi que d'un Doctorat en Sciences (spécialité Mathématiques Appliquées). Dr Basta Hycham est également titulaire d'un Master 2 en Mécanique et Ingénierie des Systèmes (spécialité Comportement Linéaire et Non-Linéaire des Matériaux). Il dirige aujourd'hui l'équipe Data Science de la Fonderie Digitale Européenn de General Electric. Avant de jouer ce rôle, il dirigeait l'équipe de R&D de DELMIA Operations Intelligence chez Dassault Systèmes. Il a participé au développement d'un algorithme d'apprentissage automatique prédictif à partir d'un moteur de règles propriétaires. Il a aussi passé près de 10 ans dans l'analyse de données orientée conseil avec des applications dans la fabrication ainsi que dans les services financiers et aux entreprises. Il possède plus de 15 ans d'expérience dans le développement de logiciels scientifiques (EDF R&D, ESI-Group, Dassault Systèmes).
